How to Play Let It Ride:
Bets:
Three equal bets are to be placed by every player in the three spaces which are labeled as (1), (2) and ($).
Bets of Optional Side:
$1 is offered by most of the casinos as a bonus. This bet keys towards the ultimate result of the combination of the three cards of the player and the two cards of the dealer. The pair that wins usually called a push means the player gets his money back to him. He will need no less than 2 pairs or better to win this stake actually.
$5 is also offered by most of the casinos as a side bet. This bet keys towards the three cards of the player. It is like a game of poker which is played with three cards. Generally, even money is paid here for a pair. And the sum for three cards straight, three cards straight-flush, three cards flush, a trip i.e. three of a kind, and a royal flush of three cards of King, Queen and an Ace amounts higher.
The players having a winner in the side bet of three cards are most probably ‘let it ride’ in the standard game, which is the most interesting aspect of the game. This is because they already have a perception that they don’t have anything to lose, which is the attitude, the dealers always fosters. The working on the mathematics and posting of the results is then left upon some other reader. But it can be logically expected by one the higher advantages of casino houses with regards to these 2 optional bets.
The deal:
Three facing down cards are received by every player. Whereas, two cards facing down are received by the dealer.
The game:
The hand of the player is compared with a payout chart, in the game of ‘let it ride’, rather than compared to the hands of other players of the dealer. The hand of the player is consisting of the three cards of the player as well as the two car5ds of the dealer.
The three cards of the every player are required to be kept at all the time in the full view of the dealer.
The payments for the winners are made as per the payout schedule i.e. two pair; the pair of ten’s or better etc.
Every player has an option to pull back the 1st bet or to leave the wager there after looking towards his 3 cards. Leaving the bet live is referred as to ‘let it ride’.
Then a community card is exposed by the dealer. Again there becomes an option for the players to pull back the 2nd bet or to let it ride. However, if they attain a better hand, they are not allowed for adding their 1st bet back. After deciding by all the players whether they are pulling back or letting it ride, the cards have to be faced down on the area already designated on the layout of the gambling table and they are not allowed to be touched by any player again.
Then the 2nd community card is to be turned by the dealer and also the three cards of all the players are to be turned facing up by the dealer itself.
As per the schedules of payouts, the payments are made for all the winning hands after the collection of all the loosing bets by the dealer.
The third bet might not be taken by the player despite of the decision made with regards to the 1st or 2nd bets.
Players are not permitted for showing their hands towards other players, as they will be advantaged through this regarding the best possible chances knowing the turning up of the specific cards by the dealer. Most often in many casino houses, it is not very carefully or compulsorily enforced. At a table full of players, it isn’t often hard to have a look over the cards of a player sitting on the either sides of a particular player.
