Whoo Hoo! PartyCasino! Oh no, that was Party Poker, close. It’s an easy error to have made, you’re bound to have heard of them - the multi billion dollar giant of the gaming industry - Party Gaming, famous for Party Poker, potentially the world's largest online poker room. Success breeds success it seems and with the powerful Party Poker brand behind them, it’s no surprise the group recently added their offering to the online casino sector, luckily for us, having launched PartyCasino during the latter half of 2006.

Party Poker is a favorite of mine, I must confess, so I thought it might be worth comparing PartyCasino with its same high standards. I imagined they would give as much energy and creativity to PartyCasino as they did to the poker but these things cannot be taken for granted so I thought I’d give it a look see and check it out – I’d a couple or so hours to spare anyway.

First impressions count and I was impressed by the immediate appearance of the site at PartyCasino; having a neat clean design, set out in an easily navigable, straight-forward manner certainly ticked all the boxes. The visuals did their job too! Straight away I was drawn to a jackpot ticker, ‘natch!’ and the wonderfully animated "Jackpots" banner inviting you to complete Mission Impossible or the Terminator slots play and crisp graphics for the Classic Games as the roulette wheel was spinning beneath a Black Jack. Just for downloading there was an offer of a $200 bonus!

Like PartyPoker, PartyCasino uses the same cashier function, it’s great when procedures and processes are familiar and don’t have any noticeable changes that take you on a steep learning curve! There’s variety of choice for depositing funds, including: Bank Transfer, Credit Card, Citadel, EC/ELV, Electronic Transfer, ePassport, FirePay, iGM-Pay, Moneybookers, Money Transfer, Neteller, Phone Connect Card, Switch/Solo Card, Wire Transfer, or Checks for the minimum deposit of $25 which is slightly strange but anyway...

I elected the Neteller option where I’ve got an existing account and I’m used to it. I then decided it was time to head off and check out the amazing games on offer in the lobby.

The Online Casino Games

Hmm…The games lobby you see at PartyCasino isn’t exactly what you’d expect or perhaps what you are used to, there isn’t much to it except some graphic menus and (this took me by surprise) total silence...where are the casino sounds?? Had I put my sound on mute?

Well at PartyCasino there are 10 different categories of games offered: Blackjack (8), Jackpot Slots (12), Roulette (American and European), Slots (24), Table Poker (6), Table Games (3), Video Poker (9), Racing (Horse and Greyhound), Games (6) and Keno.

Like a lot of people do, I began with the Jackpot Slot games as the jackpots are pretty impressive, appear to rise quickly and have a good hit rate. There’s a unique structure with three Video Slots that are linked to a tiered progression of five levels of jackpots, top levels giving the big payout, (as I write it’s nearly $1 million). The last win was for about $700,000. However, it wasn’t my night to join the jackpot winners and I decided the time had come for me to move on.

Their general slot games seem pretty good too. I began with the Mission Impossible Slot, which was addictive so I thought I’d better shift otherwise nothing else would be seen and moved over to Predator Slots. Luck hadn’t followed me so I thought a change of position might bring a change of luck and went to look at a few of the other offerings PartyCasino had which included Blackjack High Limit, European Roulette, Mega Joker Poker, and finished off my session with a few too many hands of Caribbean poker.

Online casino players used to Cryptologic, Microgaming, or Playtech software, who are more interested in actual casino games may be a touch disappointed with the games’ online graphic quality and variety that PartyCasino offer in comparison. They are reasonably entertaining and definitely quality products, but as they say…could do better. In their defense, and their favor, the table limits here are higher than the average generally offered for games like roulette and blackjack, the progressives will grab you if you're a fan of the slots and poker players, definitely will enjoy the facility for easily flipping back and forwards between the casino games and the poker.

My time up and my luck down, it was time to call it a day and see if customer support provided at the casino, was up to the standards of the poker, which I know is excellent.

The software at PartyCasino is smooth, fast and stable. Switching between games is a cinch; providing an extremely enjoyable casino online experience. I really can’t compliment the graphics enough, they are beautiful and their animations are equally slick. Using the PartyCasino website is easy to do and full of all the information you’d expect, which is readily accessible. For players of both poker and casino games the website allows a quick switch between both Party Poker and PartyCasino - very useful, good plus point.

Well it seems that run monthly promotions are the norm at PartyCasino and as I write this – February - this month they have four top promotions on offer.

Obviously I can’t avail of opportunities yet to happen but there is certainly something of interest above regular game play on offer each week throughout ‘Valentine’s’ month.

What is really, really great at the moment is the minimum deposit has been halved to just $25, which is a very attractive incentive indeed.

With a minimum deposit only that size you’ll have no problem taking advantage of the Tell-A-Friend bonus offering 25% deposit bonus up to $100.

Under the ‘It Could Be You’ headline, Party Casino proud to advertise their Mega Fortune winner – “Player fisherman487 started 2009 in high style with a stunning $753,679.49 win on Mega Fortune Wheel.” I can tell you that caught my attention! Just recently, PartyCasino has revamped its PartyPoints and points can now be earned from all the real money games and activities offered, including the new virtual racing.

Roulette low-risk bets are the only exclusion to this wonderful promotion. There are five levels of packages that your points can buy into at the terrific PartyPoints store and where occasionally freebies are awarded for trading them. Party Casino Welcome Bonus

Here’s where the Welcome Bonus lies - $/€200 for downloading which is necessary if you want to play here as there is no Flash version of PartyCasino. So, I activated the download, surprisingly it only took under a minute for completion and just another little minute to install before it was ready for me to begin.

I have an account already at PartyPoker, and with those details already registered and transferable to PartyCasino it meant I didn’t have to open a new account with them.
