Reaching The Summit
Everest Poker VIP Summit Club makes reaching the top very easy. Tier Qualification
Qualification for a tier is earned through Summit Points in those games that are played for real money, not tokens, tables playing cash games or participating in tournaments. The SPs are earned, or accrued, through games of real money play.
Beginning on the 1st of each month, the amount of SPs accumulated in the whole of last month is considered. For example, the total SPs earned during the period June 1, 2008 through June 30, 2008, determines the VIP Tier level for July1, 2008 through July 31, 2008.

Summit Points and Cash Conversion

For example, a member currently sitting in Base Camp accrues 50 SPs through ring game participation on a particular day. 125 BSPs (250%) are received just on leaving the table, totalling 175 SP's for the participation there. BSPs are credited immediately on departure from playing at the table. SP's earned at tournament play are credited to BSPs after play is complete.
It is important to realize Bonus Summit Points neither count towards determining the actual VIP tier position for the follow-on period in the next month, nor are they able to be applied to earning or conversion bonuses but all Summit Points do share equivalent cash conversion, equivalent tournament buy-in value, and of course, equivalent store purchase value.
Changing SPs into money is simplicity itself. Visit the "Convert SP to Cash" screen from the Bonus page or the VIP status page. Type the total SP's desired for conversion to cash (these will be converted at the rate of 1 SP = $.004), enter member password, then move the cursor and click "Convert".
